The Pomodoro Technique, developed by Francesco Cirillo in the 1980s, is a renowned time management method. The original technique consists of six clear and concise steps:
<ol>
 <li>Decide on the task to be accomplished.</li>
 <li>Set the pomodoro timer, traditionally for a duration of 25 minutes.</li>
 <li>Dedicate yourself to working on the task.</li>
 <li>When the timer rings, conclude your work and make a checkmark on a piece of paper.</li>
 <li>If you have accumulated fewer than four checkmarks, take a brief break of 3–5 minutes before returning to step 2; otherwise, proceed to step 6.</li>
 <li>After completing four pomodoros, reward yourself with a longer break of 15–30 minutes, reset your checkmark count to zero, and then proceed to step 1.</li>
</ol>
This technique has been implemented in an application developed by Nyan and Linh Okita.
